We have been working in partnership with The Stockport County Community Foundation for the past three years delivering many successful projects to benefit the local community.
This year, Equity have funded a range of activities with Stockport County Foundation to engage local people about the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.
These programmes are free and will help participants with their confidence and self-esteem, contributing to a reduction of social isolation within the local community.
Some programmes have already been delivered throughout Stockport and have included Football Fundays and Park Sessions during the February half term.
There are activities planned throughout the Easter holidays in Heaton Norris and Heaton Chapel aimed at engaging with younger members of the community.
A regular Men’s Active Wellbeing session at Brinnington Life Leisure is open to men over the age of 18 who may want to improve their lifestyles and become more active.
